About Me
I'm an award-winning producer, director, writer, actor, and editor, with more than 25 years’ experience working in the Entertainment business. During my tenure at Warner Bros. as Senior Vice President
Creative Content, I produced and pioneered over 3000 hours of behind-the-scenes documentaries, including short form and immersive content for films and TV series released on disc and digital, including the Harry Potter films, The Matrix Trilogy, DC Universe, LEGO, Friends, The Big Bang Theory, and the great Warner Classics.
I consider myself a Creative Diplomat, because I can manage relationships on a creative, business, and legal level, and communicate effectively to all stakeholders to bring a plan together that works for everyone. At Warner, I handled high-level studio talent relationships, and collaborated with filmmakers and producers to shape and develop the content plans for the disc and digital home release. I built the Warner Home Entertainment Content Team from the ground up - it started with me and I grew it into a team of 10, and I also oversaw dozens of outside vendors. I created the team process for creative development, protocol with talent, legal clearances and asset delivery.
I have experience leading huge content projects for tentpoles such as Harry Potter and The Hobbit Trilogy with multi-million dollar budgets and long timelines. But I also know how to manage small productions with low budgets. I've worked with non-profits, charities, and small indie films, and I know how to innovate and stretch the budget to still deliver a great creative experience.
As an entrepreneur and innovator, I leverage my creative experience and business acumen as a producing partner at Home and Yonder, our family-owned multimedia company which I co-founded with my and creative partner Jeudi Cornejo Brealey. I earned my MFA in the Directing for Theatre, Video and Cinema program at California Institute of the Arts, and a BA in Political Science at Carleton College. Originating from Minnesota, I reside in Los Angeles, California, with Jeudi, our sons, Gustavo and Joaquin, and our corgi, Winston.

I'm on the planning committee and head of video production for Autism In Entertainment, which held it's inaugural Conference on April 5, 2024, at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Our mission is to create lasting bridges between Entertainment Industry employers and the ASD Community. HOLY SHITAKE: A WOK STAR IS BORN
I'm producer of Katie Chin's one woman show: Holy Shitake: A Wok Star is Born, chosen as "Best of the Fest" for Whitefire Theatre's Solofest 2024, in Los Angeles. The show is directed by Fran de Leon. Filled with pathos and humor, Celebrity Chef Katie Chin shares her personal journey as a Chinese American girl raised by her remarkable mother, restaurateur Leeann Chin. Catch it on May 25 at Whitefire Theatre!
LOVE OUTSHINES THE MOON!
Created and conceived by my wife and lead of the show Jeudi Cornejo Brealey, I am co-producer, actor, and singer in this musical, set in the Jazz Age and featuring rare 1920s and 1930s Tunes. We completed a 14 month workshop residency in 2023 at The Jeweled Universe in South Pasadena, and are now developing this show for future stage presentations and beyond.
